Love is Love — And Soft Glam Looks Good on All of It

There’s something truly magical about a wedding day — the laughter, the love, the looks. And when I had the honor of doing makeup for one half of a gorgeous same-sex couple, her amazing mom, and her besties, I was reminded again why I adore being a bridal makeup artist.

Same-sex weddings are filled with so much heart. There’s this beautiful, defiant joy that shines through — and let me tell you, soft glam just glows even brighter when it’s layered with that kind of love. ✨

For this celebration, I created timeless, radiant makeup looks that complemented my bride’s style and the entire vibe of the wedding. We focused on glowing skin, soft sculpting, romantic eyes, and lips that would last through toasts, kisses, and a full night of dancing.

Whether it’s a traditional ceremony or something more modern, bridal makeup for LGBTQ+ weddings is all about honoring individuality. At Makeup the Bride, I believe beauty is for everyone, no matter your love story, your skin tone, or your pronouns.

Being trusted to be part of such an intimate day — even for just one bride and her close circle — is something I never take for granted. These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do.

Love is love. And glam? Glam is universal. 💋
