Hi there and welcome to my new BLOG page! I don’t consider myself a writer but when it comes to expressing myself and talking about beauty and such, I think I do a pretty good job. I hope you do too.
Let me start out by saying that I have been a Los Angeles based makeup artist in this business for over two decades so I hope I know a thing or two about it. I am a freelancer which means that the hustle is real and that the connections and the the talent I can bring to the table are paramount in my world. Word of mouth for me is so very important so I believe I go above and beyond for each and every client and team I work with.
Throughout my makeup career I have worked on productions for TV-Film-Online-and Commercials, I have worked in the Headshot space, I have worked with Photographers and Brands and of course I have worked on Weddings! I can achieve any beauty look a client would like but I do tend to do a more natural finish makeup more times than not. While my clients are usually women, I have also done my share of male-grooming during the past couple of decades as well. I always want to keep learning and growing as an artist. I LOVE the creative process and will always try to give 100% into all projects that come my way.
Personally, I am a Valley Girl with an awesome family. They are truly so supportive and couldn’t do this without their love! I feel that I am a better wife, daughter and mom when I am able to work which feeds my soul which in turn fuels me to be the best I can be at home for them. I feel pretty fortunate. My fave food is Peanut Butter(Duh), I value friendship hardcore, I love my pink hair, I live for my first cup of coffee in the morning, I can easily go down a TikTok hole and absolutely love to laugh so I dare you to make me :))!! We have a cat we adopted during Covid named Nova too!
With all that being said…Covid of course has turned everything upside down. I want to expand my business and try new things. In a beauty world that is constantly delivering Influencers and a plethora of Beauty Content, where does that leave me?! Well, here I am writing a BLOG, starting to teach and offer Virtual Beauty Classes and I plan on doing more Videos to get me out of my comfort zone. I am excited to embrace these new endeavors while waiting for my next in person makeup gig!!
