In the over two decades that I have been a Los Angeles based makeup artist, whenever I have a discovery phone call with my client/bride and I ask them what their beauty wishes are for their wedding day...the #1 response is to look like an enhanced version of themselves. My brides don’t want to look overdone or have a caked on INSTAGRAM makeup look. I hear this statement time and time again. It’s so important to me as a beauty entrepreneur to listen to my client’s needs and desires. At the end of the day, my goal is to give them their beauty, their way, on their wedding day! My aesthetic has always been on the more natural side. I love when my bride’s natural beauty comes through and they feel like themselves when all the beauty pieces are put together. When the hair, makeup and wedding dress come together...it’s a magical moment. Oh how I miss these blissful moments. This pandemic has certainly put a damper on the wedding industry as a whole.
